:: WatW :: Zoo Park Natura Viva - part 1.

We are having our last days of sun, before a long and cold winter, so we decided to finally visit one of the most famous and biggest zoo around here: Zoo Park Natura Viva, near the Garda’s lake. Beautiful. Simply beautiful. It is  divided in two parts: a safari part, where you can drive through half of the park and see many animals from your car seat (zebras, giraffes, lions..) and a walking part, where other animals can be seen from the glass or from outside their space. The whole area is divided by continent so it is extremely educative for kids that can relate different areas of the world with different animals. Zoe and Alma had so much fun!! Well… I have to admit that Alma is still so little… she can’t really enjoy this kind of thing. She looked at the animals for a couple of seconds and then she asked for something to eat!
Anyway, the place is highly recommended if your are around the Garda’s lake and looking for something to do! We will come back for sure! More pictures on my next post! :)


stiamo avendo i nostri ultimi giorni di sole prima di un lungo e freddo inverno, così abbiamo deciso di visitare finalmente uno dei più grandi e famosi zoo dei dintorni: il Parco Zoo Natura Viva, vicino al lago di Garda. Bellissimo. Semplicemente bellissimo.  È diviso in due parti: il safari park dove si va con l’auto e si possono ammirare molti animali direttamente dal finestrino dell’auto (zebre, giraffe, leoni..) e una parte visitabile a piedi, dove si possono vedere altri animali attraverso vetri oppure dall’esterno del loro habitat. L’intera area è divisa per continenti quindi risulta estremamente educativo per i bambini che possono mettere in relazione diverse aree del mondo con diversi animali. Zoe e Alma si sono divertite un sacco! In realtà devo ammettere che forse Alma è ancora troppo piccola e non può godersi ancora queste cose. Ha guardato gli animali per un paio di secondi e poi mi ha chiesto qualcosa da mangiare!
In ogni caso il posto è vivamente consigliato se siete dalle parti del lago di Garda e siete in cerca di qualcosa da fare! Noi torneremo di sicuro!

:: WatW :: black CHOCOLATE.

It was a long time since my last choco pudding. it reminds me my childhood, my mother used to prepare it for me during winter times… and today looks like winter so… enjoy!

Things here are coming back to a normal routine: school, work… I’m suffer for a lack of space that will continue until the second floor will be ready. We have many things to decide and everything money related (not easy, not happy, but necessary!)

Last but not least… our cat is definitely "back in the house”! Poor Lucio… between all that noise and stuff he was kind of confused! i think he is the happiest for the new ‘normal' situation!

È passato molto tempo dal mio ultimo budino al cioccolato…Mi ricorda la mia infanzia… Mia mamma me lo preparava spesso in inverno. E visto che oggi sembra inverno… buon appetito!

Le cose stanno tornando alla normalità: scuola, lavoro… Sto soffrendo per una gran mancanza di spazio che continuerà finchè il secondo piano non sarà pronto. Abbiamo molte cose da decidere e tutte collegate al budget che ci siamo prefissati (non facile, non felice, ma necessario).

Ultima cosa… il nostro gatto è definitivamente tornato a casa! Povero Lucio… tra caos e rumore era molto confuso! Credo proprio sia il più felice per il nuovo ritorno alla normalità!

back home <3

We are back home! and it feels so good… We stayed away just for three months but it looked an eternity! I am grateful for the hospitality to my in-laws but, you know, your home is your home! We are still a little bit upside down, with a “do not open that door” room, full of stuff that are still waiting for a collocation. And really you cannot imagine the girls’ faces when we went back to our house! they kept running from one room to another, touching their toys that I put in boxes to protect them from dust.. they were so excited! and still are!!

Basically everything remain the same but we painted every room and create a space for the stairs that will joined our floor with the one that we are building upstairs. I can picture the whole house even if I have to wait at least other ten months… but the second floor will be full of light and down here we will have room for the girls to play, plenty of space to invite friends, to host dinners, birthday parties… I cannot wait!!

Siamo finalmente a casa! Siamo stati via solo tre mesi ma sono sembrati un’eternità! Sono grata ai miei suoceri per l’ospitalità ma la propria casa è sempre la propria casa! Siamo ancora un po’ sottosopra, con la classica stanza da “non aprite quella porta” piena di cose che stanno ancora cercando una collocazione. E davvero non potete immaginare la faccia delle bimbe quando siamo tornati a casa! continuavano a correre da una stanza a l’altra, toccando i loro giochi che avevo messo in una scatola per non farli impolverare… erano così contente! e ancora lo sono!!
Fondamentalmente è rimasto tutto uguale ma abbiamo ridipinto ogni stanza e creato lo spazio in cui andrà la scala che congiungerà il piano attuale con quello che stiamo costruendo sopra. Posso già immaginare l’intera casa anche se dovrò aspettare ancora almeno dieci mesi… il secondo piano sarà pieno di luce e qui ci sarà spazio per far giocare le bimbe, per invitare amici, ospitare cene e compleanni… Non vedo l’ora!

AUTUMN IN SUMMER.

a couple of week ago i took this picture... it was a strange, cold day... like the first day of autumn.. but it is still summer! and still warm now!

:: WatW :: the BEAUTY.

when you live surrounded by beauty you don’t think about it… you feel it maybe, but don’t notice it every single day. My life right now is going as usual (sunny days in the park, girls learning new things every couple of minutes, work..) but the frame is not beautiful. As i’ve already written we are renovating the house and we are still far from the end… We are sleeping all together in the guest room, i’m struggling with dust and dirty, and Giulio is working hard every evening in order to finish at least a couple of rooms. As i said, my life is still beautiful, but it’s so hard to notice lately.
last weekend we have been to a dance show: dancers moving slowly in a beautiful park… it was so peaceful. and beautiful. yes, last sunday everything was complete: a beautiful family in a beautiful place.
i do need moments like these!!


Quando si vive circondati dalla bellezza non ci si pensa... lo senti forse, ma non lo si nota ogni singolo giorno. La mia vita in questo momento sta andando come al solito (giornate di sole nel parco, le ragazze imparano cose nuove ogni paio di minuti, lavoro ..), ma la cornice non è bella. Come ho già scritto stiamo ristrutturando la casa e siamo ancora lontani dalla fine ... Noi dormiamo tutti insieme nella stanza degli ospiti, sto lottando con polvere e sporco, e Giulio sta lavorando sodo ogni sera per terminare almeno un paio di stanze. Come ho detto, la mia vita è ancora bella, ma è così difficile notarlo ultimamente. abbiamo trascorso lo scorso fine settimana ad uno spettacolo di ballo: ballerini in movimento, lentamente in un bellissimo parco ... era così tranquillo. e bellissimo. sì, quest'ultima domenica è stato tutto completo: una bella famiglia in un posto bellissimo.
Ho bisogno di momenti come questi !!

here I am. in a chaos. we are renovating the house which means dust, noise, strangers inside and outside the house every single days, papers to be filled, boxes where to put all your belongings…
I have to admit… it means also a new beginning… and it’s exciting!
but I’m a virgo and one of the hallmarks of my zodiac sign is the necessity of a clean space where everithing is in order… well… I will have to deal with this chaos at least until the end of the summer!
will i make it?!

eccomi. in un caos. stiamo ristrutturando casa, il che significa polvere, rumore, estranei dentro e fuori casa ogni singolo giorno, carte da riempire, scatole dove mettere tutti i vostri beni …
Ma devo ammetterlo ... significa anche un nuovo inizio ... ed è eccitante! ma io sono del segno della Vergine e uno dei tratti distintivi del mio segno zodiacale è la necessità di uno spazio pulito in cui tutto è in ordine ... beh ... avrò a che fare con questo caos, almeno fino alla fine dell'estate! Ce la farò ?!

during our stay in USA we visited Woodstock for the first time.I know that the famous concert did not take place there but still i’ve read about this pittoresque and quiet little town and we spent a day there.
I loved the road to get there… between pine woods and little white houses…

durante il nostro soggiorno in USA abbiamo visitato Woodstock per la prima volta. So che il famoso concerto non é stato tenuto li, ma comunque avevo letto di questa pittoresca e tranquilla cittadina e ci abbiamo trascorso una giornata. Mi é piaciuta la strada per arrivarci ... tra boschi di pini e piccole case bianche ...
