CARNET de VOYAGE: abruzzo.

  
before getting married, we agreed that we will travelled around italy (and europe) when we would have kids. well… now we have kids, and now we’re ready to discover our beautiful country! i’ve never been to the south of italy and i was so excited! i dreamed about sun, cristal waters, food (a lot about food!). our final destination is puglia but we didn’t want to drive straight there. we stopped in Fano (nothing more than a “technical stop” to have lunch and to see the water) and alma met the sand for the first time: love at first sight!
and we spent the afternoon and the morning after in roseto degli abruzzi, nice, calm city. unfortunately it’s windy these days and not so warm, so no spashes! but the water is getting amazing and cleaner as long as we go south…

prima di sposarci ci siamo subito trovati d’accordo che avremo viaggiato in italia (ed europa) quando avremo avuto figli. beh… ora abbiamo figli e ora siamo pronti a scoprire il nostro bellissmo paese! non sono mai stata nel sud italia ed ero così emozionata! ho fantasticato di sole, acque cristalline, buon cibo (molto buon cibo!!). la nostra meta finale è la puglia ma non volevamo guidare direttamente fino a là. ci siamo fermati a Fano (niente più di una sosta tecnica per il pranzo e per vedere l’acqua) e alma ha fatto conoscenza con la sabbia: amore a prima vista!

abbiamo passato il pomeriggio e la mattina seguente a roseto degli abruzzi, una cittadina carina e tranquilla. sfortunatamente c’è parecchio vento in questi giorni quindi niente tuffi! ma l’acqua sta diventando sempre più spettacolare e pulita a mano a mano che andiamo verso sud…

our last stop in abruzzo before reaching puglia, has been città sant’angelo…what to say? charming! it’s a small borgo situated up on a hill with a beautiful seaview and short pittoresque streets…

il nostro ultimo stop prima della puglia è stato città sant’angelo… cosa dire? incantevole! è un piccolo borgo situato in cima ad una collina con una stupenda visuale sul mare e strette pittoresche stradine…
