“a portrait of my daughters, once a week, every week, in 2014”

Zoe Tiare: technically wrong, but that’s my favorite portrait of you ever… my ray of light, shy, beautiful,  dreamy…

Alma Aiko: anyone guesses, after just few minutes, how sly your are!!

Alma Aiko: tutti indovinano dopo solo pochi minuti quanto furbetta sei…

WEDNESDAY AROUND the WORLD: isole TREMITI

 DSC_4888 DSC_4916 DSC_4929 Senza titolo-7DSC_4933DSC_4945 DSC_4980 Senza titolo-6DSC_4985

i’m still in puglia so this wednesday i’ll virtually bring you to…. the tremiti islands. i’ve visited just one of them, san nicola, the historical one. i have to admit… the history is not the first thing you notice, but the crystalline light blue water… a natural swimming pool! anyway the abbey of santa maria a mare is remarkable!

zoe and alma enjoyed also the two hours boat ride to go there from vieste… their first ‘real’ boat ride!

DSC_4534DSC_4551 DSC_4573 DSC_4603 DSC_4612 DSC_4637 i can’t say which one i loved the most… vieste or peschici… white houses, blue sea, cobblestone streets in the centre and typical panzerotti, pizza e paposce sellers everywhere.i t really worth to get lost in their small and curved streets and be surprised by a new perspective of the sea…

DSC_4335DSC_4352 Senza titolo-1 DSC_4396 DSC_4414
before getting married, we agreed that we will travelled around italy (and europe) when we would have kids. well… now we have kids, and now we’re ready to discover our beautiful country! i’ve never been to the south of italy and i was so excited! i dreamed about sun, cristal waters, food (a lot about food!). our final destination is puglia but we didn’t want to drive straight there. we stopped in Fano (nothing more than a “technical stop” to have lunch and to see the water) and alma met the sand for the first time: love at first sight!
and we spent the afternoon and the morning after in roseto degli abruzzi, nice, calm city. unfortunately it’s windy these days and not so warm, so no spashes! but the water is getting amazing and cleaner as long as we go south…
